I received an Ameda HygieniKit in the hospital - can I use it with my Mya Joy PLUS Pump?

The HygieniKit you received in the hospital is mostly compatible with your Mya Joy PLUS pumping kit. All CustomFit flanges, containers/lids and tubing from your Ameda hospital kit can be used with the Mya Joy PLUS. The diaphragm and valve pieces in the Mya Joy PLUS are slightly different from those used in your HygieniKit so we recommend that only use the diaphragm and valves that come with your Joy PLUS pump (just toss out the old ones). Two new sets of valves and diaphragms come with each Mya Joy PLUS pump.

Is the Mya Joy PLUS rechargeable?

Yes. The Mya Joy PLUS has an internal, rechargeable battery that lasts up to 3 hours during normal operation. It can be recharged via the included AC Power Adapter or your own USB Type-C charging cord.

Mya Joy PLUS looks small - will it be powerful enough to use when I go back to work?

Yes. The Mya Joy PLUS pump features hospital strength performance and is designed for daily use by moms. It also features two modes of pumping (stimulation and expression) and a large range of settings for mom's comfort. Joy Plus is so small and quiet that Mom can take it with her whereever she needs to go!

    Love the portability and power of this pump

    Obviously it's a cute pump, but I love that I can throw it in my work bag. Portability means a lot so I can multitask. There are a ton of different levels of power/suction, and it's relatively quiet. This would make an amazing baby shower gift!

    So convenient!

    Great pump- so much easier to use on the go! I have to exclusively pump, so being able to move around and still be productive while pumping is a game changer. In the fussy evenings, I can even take a stroller walk (the only thing that keeps my son from crying that time of day) while I get my last pumping session done. Highly recommend for any mom that needs to pump more than once a day 👍🏻

    Easy to assemble, operate, make hands-free, disassemble, and clean

    Absolutely love this pump! Without even looking at directions, it’s easy to assemble, operate, disassemble, and clean. The product has a small number of parts that clearly fit together and gave me a great fit. Even easier than assembling and disassembling this pump is operating it. The interface is super simple and basically walks you through how to use it, starting with simulation to expression with a range of levels for the strongest suction for your comfort. It’s also very easy to see your milk coming through and totally silent. It’s got a great battery life allowing you to pump anywhere (no outlet needed - and a long chord in the charger helps as well). The compact, light weight device can tie to your pants and give you a hands-free experience on the go.

    Small, quite, and simple!

    What can I say but this pump "sucks" haha! It's a great little pump! It's so quite and portable I can't say enough about it! I've been using it about a year now and works as good as my first day! (And I exclusively pump)
