Our History

Tools and machinery are visible in the background, suggesting a workshop environment. On the right, the same man is depicted with a more relaxed expression, facing the camera, with his bald head and round glasses prominently featured. Our History

Einar Egnell

More than 80 years ago, Swedish engineer, Einar Egnell, made it his life’s work to help breastfeeding mothers. After years of research, Egnell created the first comfortable and effective breast pump that closely mimics the sucking rhythm of nursing infants. In the process, Egnell also created the vacuum and cycling standards that today’s lactation professionals use to judge breast pump quality.

An elderly man wearing thick, rounded glasses and a white lab coat looks down thoughtfully. His face is wrinkled, indicating age and experience. He is situated in a library or study filled with books in the background. The image captures a moment of contemplation, emphasizing the seriousness of his demeanor.
