Ameda Custom Fit Kits
The Ameda CustomFit Breast Pump Flange Kit helps make breast pumping comfortable and helps mom pump more milk when the fit is just right. The breast flange is the funnel shaped piece that cups your breast. A good fit is important! Make sure your breast flange is not too small or too large. Using the wrong size will cause discomfort and reduce the effectiveness of your pump. The Large/Medium CustomFit Flanges provide moms with larger breast flanges and special reducing inserts to create a smaller size for maximum pumping effectiveness. If pumping causes discomfort, even on a low suction setting, you may need a different breast flange size. All Ameda® HygieniKit® Milk Collection Systems come with a standard size 25.0mm flange that works well for many moms, but we also offer a range of different flange sizes and inserts – our CustomFit Flange System – to ensure you find your best fit.

Thought they were broken at first and almost sent them back (they werent suctioning). Then I realized I didnt have valves attached (duh). I do wish the size I needed came as a solo ****** instead of having to wear two flanges on each nipple, but it's more of a burden when washing and doesnt really make a difference when I'm actually pumping.

These are fantastic. I’d highly recommend trying out the bigger size if the regular ones are a bit snug. It’s made pumping a much more pleasant experience. The medium is a bit weird because it fits into the large, but it doesn’t seem to mess up the suction.

Wow! My daughter is 2 weeks old and I have been using the Ameda 25mm parts the hospital gave me... I use them with my Medela pump. Let's just say I was unaware of the different sizes available and noticed I was having to lean forward because I didn't fit in the 25mm part and gravity made the milk fall towards me instead of into the bottle. So looking online lead me to this product. Now after a good suction (seal) I can sit back and relax. Also I was able to pump more in half the time! I think the 25mm parts were restricting my milk flow. Now that I ordered the 35mm parts I am a happy camper. BTW I don't use the insert as it is not necessary. I am a 34 C cup and a D cup when engorged so 35mm works for me.

This flanges are AMAZING. The original flanges that the Ameda pump comes with were too small and my nipples rubbed against them while I was pumping causing them to be in terrible pain so it hurt to nurse. I ordered these and once I started using them my nipples no longer hurt. I also noticed a significant increase in the volume of milk I was pumping. I definitely suggest these to those with larger nipples like mine. It is important to have the right size of flanges to allow milk to flow properly to prevent breast engorgement and to prevent sore nipples! Also love that they come apart so it is easier to clean the parts!

It's really important to find the best fitting flanges: it can make a big difference in your pumped milk quantity when you use flanges that fit. I've gone through several different sizes to find ones that worked for me. If your nipple rubs, your ****** is too small. If your arreola gets sucked into the ******, it's too big. You may need to order different sizes before finding ones that work. These particular ones fit my ameda pump perfectly.
